San Ramon FC is excited to announce the club has joined the San Jose Earthquakes Partners in Development Program

San Ramon FC is excited to announce the club has joined the San Jose Earthquakes Partners in Development Program, joining other top clubs in Northern California in supporting the Quakes Academy.

“This partnership is proof of the good work that our technical staff, specifically Mani Salimpour and Zlatko Tomic, has done over the past few years. It shows that we are on the right track and are performing alongside some of the best clubs in Northern California,” said San Ramon FC Executive Director, Dan Chamberlain.

The Partners in Development Program is a technical partnership between the San Jose Earthquakes Academy and top local clubs, to provide a player development pathway for young players as well as coaching education and technical support for each member.

As a member of the program selected San Ramon FC players will be able to not only participate in regularly scheduled Partners in Development Trainings but can also be rostered with the Quakes Academy and participate in official matches while staying registered and rostered on their SRFC team.

In addition to player development opportunities, the partnership will also provide coaching education opportunities for all SRFC coaches and technical staff.

“With this partnership, San Ramon FC players now have a direct pathway to the only MLS Academy program in Northern California. This allows young boys and girls who have the desire and ability to pursue the game at the next level to get seen and move to that level directly from San Ramon FC. This is a huge step for our club and a massive benefit for our membership,” concluded Chamberlain.

Several boys and girls have already experienced the benefits of the program.  Eight boys between the birther years of 2010 and 2007 were selected to participate in the Boys Academy Partners Training Program last month. These boys, along with Boys Technical Director Mani Salimpour traveled down to the Quakes Academy training facility to participate in a training session alongside other top players from partner clubs.  On the girls' side, several girls have attended regular sessions with the Quakes Girls Academy and have featured for the Academy in official matches.
