San Ramon FC will host Entry-Level Referee Certification Courses in August and September. The same courses are available in Pleasanton on different dates as well. The course is for new, first time referees that have not been previously certified or registered. Grassroots referees can officiate competitive, small-sided or recreational youth and amateur adult matches. 

The cost for this course is $75.00. 

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to take the course, you must be a minimum of 13 years old. Adults are welcome to take the course as well.

Course Requirements

First Time Grassroots Referees must complete online assignments in the U.S. Soccer Online Learning Center and attend an in-person field session.

The online coursework must be completed BEFORE the in-person field session.

After Completing the Training Course
By attending and completing any of the above courses, you can become a certified referee and then join (for free) the East Bay Referee Association (EBRA) to access referee assignments for youth soccer matches in San Ramon, Pleasanton, and Livermore.
