Our Board members have in common a passion for their children, the San Ramon Community, and youth soccer, as well as a desire to help raise the quality of SRFC and make it accessible to players of all ages and backgrounds. SRFC Board members represent the membership, provide high-level strategic oversight, help generate sponsorships for the club, support the professional staff, and ensure accountability to our membership.
The full Board generally meets once every other month [on the 3rd Wednesday of the month] and the time commitment required is moderate. The first meeting of the Board will place prospective board members with continuing, current board members. Board members must be able to commit to attending meetings and events at least twice a month.
Board candidates must be members (e.g., parent of a player, adult player, coach, etc.) in good standing (with all fees paid current) of SRFC (view club bylaws PDF) and accept the nomination (if made by someone else). An important requirement is that you have a desire to see the club continue to evolve, improve, and thrive.
If you have any questions, please contact the SRFC Nominating Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org
