This season we will highlight the coaches and staff who make our club a special place to be. We're grateful for our community and the people who help our programs thrive.

Head Coach: 2010G, 2009G, 2006G White Teams

What do you like about coaching soccer?

I love being able to work with athletes to not only help develop and grow their soccer skills on the field but also help them continue to grow as people off the field.

What is your favorite park, restaurant, or place in San Ramon?

The Hop Yard Alehouse and Grill

What is your favorite food? Dessert?

Cheeseburgers are my favorite food and homemade chocolate chip cookies are my favorite dessert.

Who is your favorite professional athlete or a professional coach you like to watch?

From a young age, I have always admired Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Mia Hamm as my favorite professional athletes. The way they play(ed) is always fun to watch and the craft they have when the ball is at their feet is unbelievable. I also admire all the hard work and dedication they put into the sport.

Pep Guardiola is a professional coach I enjoy watching. He shows a lot of enthusiasm and emotion.

What other sports/activities do you enjoy?

Going to Disneyland whenever I can, jet-skiing, hiking with my dogs, binge-watching on Netflix, and hanging out with friends/family.

Do you have any pets?

I have three dogs: Ramos (named after the best defender in the world, Sergio Ramos): He is a 2-year-old half Pit-bull, half Boxer mix. Ginger: She is a 7-year-old Jack Russell. Dash: He is a 7-month-old mini-Dachshund.

Which of our club's 11 pillars of character are important to you?

Respect and Competitiveness are two pillars that are really important to me.  When it comes to respect, I believe it really goes a long way. It is not only important to show respect to others, but also show respect to yourself. I like that respect can also tie into and be seen amongst the other pillars as well.

Competitiveness is also an important pillar of character because as you grow not only do you learn to be competitive on the field but off the field as well. Having a sense of competitiveness allows you to strive to work hard and be determined to achieve your goals that you set forth whether on/off the field.
