San Ramon FC teams and players find success in the spring season

Spring 2022 Recap

San Ramon FC's teams and players had a fun, challenging spring season, striving to develop their skills and teamwork each week while competing in spring leagues and tournaments on the weekends. The club is proud of the development of all its players and teams. Who you become while learning to play will always be more significant than how many wins or losses your team earns.

Several SRFC teams saw their hard work rewarded with success on the soccer pitch and several players earned individual achievements as well.

2003/04B NPL - NorCal Spring League Champions

The boys earned a first place finish in their NorCal Spring league, giving the graduating seniors on the team the opportunity to wrap up their youth soccer careers as league champions. With their State Cup trophy (see below), the team took first place in both competitions in their final season together.

2003/04G NPL - NorCal Spring League Champions

The girls finished their schedule in mid-May and had to wait and see how the rest of the league matches played out. Ultimately, no one could catch them and they held onto their first place standing in their NorCal Spring league. The team's graduating seniors cherished the outcome, allowing them to step off the field on a high note as league champions.

2007G NPL - NPL 3 League Champions

The team earned 16 points to win the division with a 5-1-1 record,  scoring 14 goals and conceding 7. Congratulations to the players, families, and Coach Colin Garon on their success.

2010G Pre-NPL - NorCal Spring League Champions

Congratulations to the players, families, and Coach Mani Salimpour on a successful spring season!  The team will move to the 11v11 field next season and already competed on the full sized field at the prestigious Manchester City Cup last month in the San Diego area.

2013G NAVY - NorCal Spring League Champions

Congratulations to the players, families, and Coach Vanessa Amaral on a fun and exciting spring season!

Tournaments

2007B NPL and Coach Bijan Sadeghy - Phoenix Cup Champions

In March, three of San Ramon FC's boys' NPL teams arrived in Phoenix, AZ and proceeded to out work the competition on the way to the finals. The 2007B NPL team won the championship, earning the trophy and an automatic bid to the Dallas Cup later on this year.

San Ramon FC's 2006B NPL and 03/04B NPL finished as finalists after a terrific weekend of soccer in the desert.

All three teams supported each other over the weekend, providing a strong sidelines presence for the club.

NorCal Premier Techne Futbol Leaderboard - Broderick Reed, 2008B White

Each month, Techne Futbol announces the monthly Top 10 leaders for players who spent the most time working in the Techne app.  For the month of May, in ALL of NorCal Premier, San Ramon FC held the #1 spot on the leaderboard thanks to Broderick Reed.

Brodie is so dedicated to his Techne training that he insisted on training while on his family's Disney cruise vacation.  Below you'll find a picture of him training at Disney's Castaway Cay in the sand.  A goalkeeper who played on Coach Dan Diodati's 2008B White team in the spring,  Brodie finds the Techne app to be a valuable tool to help him improve his footwork and ball skills.
