SRFC players honored for their play in high school winter soccer

High School Soccer

Each year, San Ramon FC has a winter break from training and competition.  The break coincides with the high school soccer season, which typically holds tryouts in November. For older age groups, players get the opportunity to tryout and compete for their high school during the winter months. The high school soccer experience is one that is cherished by many youth players and their families. There is the unique element of representing your school and community in competition. The high school season gives student athletes a special competitive environment that features teammates of different ages from different youth clubs working together to achieve success.

Playing club soccer at San Ramon FC, both in the years before and during high school, helps a student athlete develop the essential soccer skills and experience needed to make an impact for their high school team.

At the end of the high school season in February, the high school coaching staffs from all schools in the East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) award "All League" Honors to players who excelled on the field during the season. These honors include: a league MVP, league 1st Team and 2nd Team for each position on the field, and league Honorable Mention (HM).

The EBAL consists of high schools in Livermore (Granada and Livermore HS), Pleasanton (Amador Valley and Foothill), Dublin (Dublin High), San Ramon (Dougherty Valley and California), Danville (San Ramon Valley and Monte Vista), and Concord (Carondelet and De La Salle).

This year many SRFC players got to experience the high school playoffs. Two San Ramon high schools reached their respective championship games, Dougherty Valley High on the men's side and California High on the women's side.  The DVHS men's program is led by SRFC coaches Bijan Sadeghy and Kevin Clark.

The following San Ramon FC players were recognized by the EBAL high school coaching staffs with All League Honors for their play during the 2022-23 high school soccer season:
